Bone Stimulators and AVMs

Greetings all! I've recently had a setback in my situation. My AVM is wrapped around my hip joint and has been the reason for me being on my third hip replacement. Last week I fractured my hip joint and my orthopedic surgeon recommended a bone stimulator. I am not sure this is the best option for an AVM. Does anyone have any thoughts?
