Definitely a lot to be thankful for, but

Today’s lowlights included running into a pole, falling off of a stool, spilling one drink on two people – all in the span of 3 hours. Yes, she’s a very talented little girl. She’s convinced that her cousin and her sister hate her for spilling her drink on them.

Oh we’ll, she found some food to eat and we got to celebrate with a bunch of relatives. Some things aren’t a given, so here’s to what we have

Take care everybody!

A. Running into a pole…lots of kids bang into things. Hmmmm frustrating but not all that abnormal.
B. Falling off a stool. Not all of us are born graceful!
C. Spilling a drink on 2 people. Hey we Flight Attendants do that everyday! LOL.
I am just thrilled you got to spend Thanksgiving with your daughter!

My whole family was under enter roof – my kids, my siblings and all my nieces and nephews. I know the value of life and to appreciate being together. I just feel bad for Rose because she gets such an embarrassed look on her face when those things happen.

Hi Tina. Well that is part of what Thanksgiving is all about…thankful for friends and family. Tell Rose the next time she spills something…that happens to people who have never had brain surgery.
I would say on average I have 2 passengers a flight who spill a drink on themselves. Plus, every Flight Attendant I know has dropped a food tray on someone by mistake.
It is kind of neat to think that years from now that Rose, her sister and cousin will remember this special Thanksgiving!

Hi Tina-Have I got some stories for you  I’ll find one that’s Rated-G.

When I was in 3rd grade, we moved to Michigan from Virginia Beach, and I wanted to fit in with the “cool” kids…so I joined in their “reindeer games”…aka sliding on the ice at recess.

It was my turn, so I slid, fell into a basketball pole, and chipped my two-front teeth…so much for fitting in with blood on my mittens-not what I was going for…however, that experience taught me plenty of lessons and plenty of what I consider stepping stones of the inevitable.

I would think the same for your daughter: even though these awkward and sometimes embarrassing things pretty much blow at the time, they have a greater purpose than what we can see at the moment.
