Does anyone use herbal drugs like SAMe?
What are you seeking to treat with these herbal drugs ?
I take samE and omega3. I don’t think samE is herbal, though. You have to be sure that samE doesn’t interfere with other drugs you may be taking. Omega3 is considered good for the brain. My brain needs all the help it can get. My acupuncturist makes herbs for me because I still get headaches(which are getting better). Sometimes I take citicoline, too (also good for the brain).
My daughter does take some herbal medicines, she is taking fish oil and a combination of herbs called "focus Attention". She did however ask her Dr. first and he gave her the thumbs up! Good luck.

Like Rx's, OTC meds & supplements, there are many herbal drugs that can cause blood thinning - not good if you have an untreated vascular malformation(s). :0
Also, if you're on anticonvulsants herbs such as Kava Kava & St. John's Wort can affect your AC levels. :(
I am currently wanting to try a supplement for pain that is manufactured & sold only in Europe, but I first have to research the ingredients before trying...

I drink a lot of green tea. Some ingredients of it are known to inhibit angiogenesis, the process by which new blood vessels are formed. I don't know if it slows down my AVM growth, but I do know it has a good psychological effect: It provides me with a feeling of control.
Also people in Asia have been drinking it for ~4000 years so it can't be that bad :)
