I had stereotactic radiosurgery in July 2013 and it was a long day but I never lost any hair. I've had a few sessions of some stabbing pain in the back of my head where they radiated but I just deal and thankfully it passes. I am supposed to have MRI/MRA's every 6 months until I reach the 2 year mark so I'm praying my AVM will be obliterated. Oh, my AVM is in the cerebellum and it's 1 mm.
Thank you, Susan! I'm so glad that you're doing well. It seems that some people lose hair and some don't. My son said he'd much rather lose some hair than have to go through another surgery and recovery.
