New discussion? (Humorous))? hmmmm

Us crazy women ain't gonna calm down. No waaaayy!

I completely agree flower...lol. Cowabunga!!! (ok I forget what was said in my favorite movie "Fried Green Tomtoes"... but what they said...lol.) :)

I agree with you...especially number 3.

Before surgery I was likable.....
after surgery "no"

The day I went in for my "procedure", like that made it any less scary calling it that, just before the application of my Halo I asked why did they make a verticle parting for a horitzonal application. The nurse starred at me and said "you need toask the doctor that". I did and he looked at me with amazment as clearly no one had ever inquired about such things in the past! He pushed my drugs and the rest is not in my head now!

Seein' as us ladies ( and men where r u hiding we know you are out there..) seem to share the gift of at times, being feisty crazy b****** here's a question - have you figured out way/s to counteract /channel this? Is that weird question but hey, we're wired differently!

For me standing on one leg helps or standing on my head.

Breathe slow.
Fresh air.
Cup of tea.
Exercise
Hugs

xx I love your replies keep 'em coming
Wishing you all well.

Chocolate...lol. No seriously, I like being a b**** at times. It keeps things real. Why would I want to counteract/channel this? As long as I'm nice to the people that matter...I guess that is what's important. Hope you're feeling well. :)

I agree Suzy. Why counter it or channel it? I embrace the inner B*tch that is in me! After all, she only comes out on rare occasiions. But please don't make her mad!

I release it much like my hounds! I love the fact that I can just let'er go and now I get tosay, "I have a brain injury so it's not my fault"! LOL

I'd have to agree on the mortality thing. In that I've realized how short life really is, and to do the most that you can in the time that you have left.

It's my time to be a raging b**** - I'm fluent in it, actually =)

Regarding some of my before-and-after surgery scenarios:

before surgery I was a dance teacher; after surgery I can barely walk and keep my balance. - oops - just tripped =)

before surgery, I was much more tolerant and patient; after surgery, I have no qualms of speaking my mind which is sometimes not PC.

before surgery, I tried to be "perfect" and was pretty serious; after surgery, not so much.

love the "because/that's why" - lol!

You n me Julie share a lot... except the dancing. Pre-AVM I never could dance to save my life, now I have an excuse ;) everything else is pretty much on the money. And yes I use the "I've had brain surgery" thing a lot, probably too much. Ah well. :)
