Hey guys,
I'm going in for a craniotomy tomorrow to fully eradicate the AVM. Wish me luck. I'll let you know how it goes in the next few days.
Cheers,

You are so so lucky to be in Toronto!! My research has concluded that Toronto is Light years ahead of the rest of the world in neurologic treatment ) However that being said, that Occipital Lobe trauma is a notch? My rupture was 5 years ago and that Occipital Lobe crash is most frustrating !

We are rooting for you, James, and hope to hear good news from you soon. We'll be thinking of you tomorrow.
Wishing you the very best!
Lisa,Sometimes I feel like the oddball, asometimes I feel that way everywhere. No one I knew had an AVM or ever heard of one. They said I had an astrocytoma, which is cancer.
James,
I can tell, you are certainly going in the right directions!
You have FAB positives that you mentioned here!
It is still OK if you see a few things that are still not right for you. Just make sure you see more POSITIVE points than negative points.
It took several years in my recovery, but I actually found more positives than negatives recovery points, so eventually, I almost felt grateful that it all happened to me, for what I LEARNED from it all.
