Spetzler (at Barrow) Retirement is coming

Hi all,

I just wanted to pass along some information. My husband had his 4th!! crainiotomy last week at Barrow (first 3 at UC San Diego) and according to him one of the nurses said that Dr. Spetzler will be retiring soon. I wasn't part of the conversation and Jeff was the one with the hole is his head so I can't confirm he heard correctly (or the expected retirement date was). But if anyone was thinking about seeing Dr. Spetzler I would recommend going sooner rather than later.

Dr.Spetzler is the only surgeon that was willing to remove my brainstem CM and I also heard he was retiring soon when i was there (2 months ago). I heard between 1 and 3 years. I too am trying to encourage people to go see him!!!
