Hello everyone, Just wanted to pop in and give some info on SBRT. I had the Gamma Knife in 2007, and then another bleed in 2011. I currently just received my first and hopefully last dose of SBRT. I was fast, easy and painless. I had a 1:30 appointment and was on the road driving myself home at 3:00. I won't find out if it worked completely for 1-2 yrs. I recommend this procedure over the halo screwed into my head and 4 yrs of radiation! radonc.ucla.edu. This is the link to UCLA where I had the procedure done. Can't say enough about the wonderful Nurses and Doctors there! By far the nicest cleanest hospital I've ever been in!
