@corrine if you can get more people for 4th, do 4th. I could do lunch or a mid-late afternoon and into evening on 3rd if that starts to work for people.
Please don’t let me steer the whole thing.
I’m very happy to the the 3rd but it would have to be the evening for me.

I could do from about 5:30pm on the 3rd and 4th works well

Works ok for me. I’ll need to be back on a train by 9:30. Potential action by Avanti West Coast cuts down my getting home options.
So… @corrine do we have a quorum? Do we have a time? Do you have some more Facebook people coming along?
I’ll need to book a train ticket (unless someone else from Leicestershire or Northamptonshire or somewhere on the way needs a lift) and it’ll be more affordable to do it in advance.
What do you all do at these meet ups?
Sorry, it’s “pain week” for me, so short local travel at best, housebound at worst. I won’t be getting back to “normal” until at least mid next week.
I hope you all have a goot time. Don’t rule me out for any future events.

In the few events so far, meet up in a restaurant, eat, drink, find out about each other, see real faces of people we’ve written to for years, retire to the pub, then time is up and we have to part again.
We did try to have a get together at one of London’s museums, so as to spend a bit more time together but we couldn’t get everyone in the same place at the same time for that one.
It’s mostly good to be able to meet real people and see that they are the same in real life as on here. At least, that’s what @corrine said of me when we had our first get together.
@talloak, @Kel1 are you up for Saturday evening? Corrine needs to get the table booked for the right number of people.
@jessicalr are you still free this Saturday at 5:30pm?
Sorry to hear you’re having a difficult time with pain. Will definently let you know when we need plan to do something! Hope you’re pain subsides soon

If anyone is free during the afternoon, I should be in London by 12:30 and very happy to meet up, find a museum, gallery or coffee shop, to suit.
I’m so sorry for going quiet. I had my head MRI done only on Saturday which was terribly difficult and have my pelvic MRI for my suspected endometrial cancer at the end of this forthcoming week.
All this is at two hospitals entirely separate from where I have been treated by my neurosurgeon. Both these hospitals have said that I should have been given documents and information from the Interventional Radiologists about the Angioseal plug devices in my femoral arteries following my cerebral angiograms. I completely agreed with them and said that I had been given nothing. Much gritted teeth later and persistent non-stop pestering, both MRI teams now have a safe auditable clinical record on the devices in my body.
I don’t think I’m good company at the moment and would struggle to do an evening meet as this is my bad time of the day when things can get bleak for me. I would still love to see everybody but maybe on another occasion when it’s easier to get together during the day. Again, I’m so sorry for going quiet and for needing to say no.

We will have further meets. As far as I’m concerned, so long as I am free and it is either nearby or I can afford to get there, I’ll come out for a cup of coffee or a lunch anytime. I’m already thinking it would be good to have a get together when Christmas shopping is in full swing but I could be lured into much sooner.
