My husband recently (11 days) had his 4th crainiotomy and we've noticed some thing with his scar area that we hadn't seen with his other surgeries:
- up until two days ago, the scare area was flattened in (it looked like a cartoon character that had been hit with a frying pan) and then when he woke up yesterday it seemed to be puffed up
- and then just now we have started to notice that we can visible see his scalp pulsating at the scar site
has anyone else experience either of these? We're seeing his doctor tomorrow morning, but this concerns me.
I'm not sure if we didn't see these things the last three times because he had a turban bandage but this time the doctors preferred "air healing"
