Waking up

I like giving back. That’s why I hang around here. I worried myself to bits when I got my diagnosis, I worried my way to the op, I worried my way through recovery and if I can encourage others that I got through it ok and I worried far more than I needed then I’m doing someone a favour.

I thought I’d hang around perhaps six months after my op: make sure I paid back at least the level of support I gained back to others but I think this is a great community of people and I’m not currently thinking I’ll retire! So hang around as much as you get value from us and it’s a great thing to be able to give back to other people the same support that we ourselves received.

Have a great day!

I’m “ok” so far, but I’m not leaving

Shit, can’t blame you - I remember my first seizure, I was alone - next thing I know I’m waking up on the floor trying to crawl to the phone to call my wife

2nd seizure & on - someone was always around

Post embolization the seizures immediately stopped

Come on, we’re only human

So far, I have been very “lucky” - but, after all of this I completely understand that our world can be turned upside down without leaving the house
