Yes, definitely. I've been told to eat more protein and I find it helps.
I've heard if you exercise first thing in the morning, you get a natural boost mid-afternoon. I'm a 5pm exerciser, so I'm thinking of trying it out since like you, the afternoon crash of energy is no fun.
Btw, I was doing well, then my allergies are back and so is the afternoon slump. At least it's seasonal...
be well and if you can take a nap, enjoy it. Lots of studies show it's great for your body to take a nap at that time, just with our work-world, it's rarely an option.
