1--AVM in L buttock growing to hip and quad area 2-- pain from avm = no sex drive

  1. My avm was originally in my left buttock. I have had around 6 or 7 procedures. I had to take a few months off because of a new job. The AVM has grown significantly down into my hip and back of thigh. It has become incredibly painful–so much that the pain medication just isn’t cutting it. I have a procedure on July 12 and hope am pretty scared to find out how much growth.has anyone with similar avm had this growth?

  2. The pain has killed my sex drive and causes some performance issues. As soon as I feel any sort of pain in my buttock/hip/leg everything shuts down. This is very frustrating as my wife and I are young and have only been married for a few years.
    Does anyone have any tricks or tips for pain mgmt?

Hot bath's. I ended up getting a portable hot tub and put it in a back room. Really helps. I also learned about relaxation and stretching. Pain causes crazy stress in your body, which in turn causes more pain.
