11 month update

Cheers to hope!!

I was told to give up, to let my Scott go.

Thank you AVMSurvivors for giving me hope.

11 months in to our new life and Scott still improves every single day.

Scott is walking with a cane and is getting stronger every day. He is joking and smiling and being a active part of the family. His vision is improving drastically.

The therapist smile when there sessions are done because of the strides he makes every time.

DONT GIVE UP HOPE!!

Our biggest hurdles still are exhaustion and short term memory loss. A recent blood work showed that Scott has a vitamin D deficiency and we are hoping that the supplement will help with some of the exhaustion which in turn should help with the short term memory.

Patience, Patience, Patience.

He is remarkable and I am so incredibly grateful for this website and the HOPE you all gave to me from the very beginning.

And tomorrow will be an even better day.

Hang in there. 3 bleeds, numerous surgeries, 2 shunts, numerous medication changes and 13 years later, I can tell you I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Press on sir.

Great news!
Hang in there Scott. You will get better and better.
Be positive.

This posting is excellent, Danielle! God bless the caregivers like you and my husband.
Almost 4 years ago, Eric was told to just accept that I was going to die but he didn't and he didn't tell me about this communication from the hospital. Three of my friends told me and I finally understood Eric's dedication last summer when the 3rd friend told me about Eric's visiting me every day morning until night. Yay for FMLA! I just received a lovely painting that I ordered from a young member and per my request, she added the word HOPE. If you ever have the opportunity, please check out her story in Strokes of Hope. Yay for spring and indeed every day is a better day!

Wonderful news! Thanks for sharing.
Keep up the fight, and you'll get better and stronger as the days goes by. :-)

So happy for you!!! Keep the positive energy flowing :)
