Hello all my AVM friends! I can't believe i've had the pleasure of talking to many of you for the past 3 years. I have been AVM free for 3 years now today and I'm so blessed to have been fortunate to meet so many wonderful people. I wish you all nothing but the best. I keep you all in my thoughts and prayers! Happy Holidays everyone. xoxoxo Emily :)
Hi, Emily - congratulations on 3 years of AVM free living! I had my bleed less than 3 years ago and only joined this site earlier in 2013 so I didn't get to meet you before - but I wholeheartedly agree that I have been blessed by the people here. They know what they're talking about. Technically, I am AVM-free, too but I live with a lot of damage and it is wonderful to be able to ask questions and get tips from people here who have done this a lot longer than I have (and been successful, too!) :) atnt
Super Hurrah!
Emily
Three years AWSOME!!! All the best for you too.

Awesome! I have also been Avm free for 3 years. Since July 2010. I feel very lucky. Happy Holidays to all !
Hi Emily, I am so happy for you. What a wonderful Christmas gift to have, 3 years AVM free. I hope you never have a problem with an AVM ever again. I had my AVM surgery in March and am happy to be just that far away from it. I can only imagine 3 years. GOOD FOR YOU!!!!! Happy Holidays! Enjoy a healthy life.
Hi, Emily! I am AVM free for 9 months but bear it in my mind. This may be because I have a residual aneuvrysm as a consequence of the high flow that was presiding in the AVM, or because it was a real shock for me when the AVM was discovered and I looked to the images of my brain. Whatever, I feel good when reading your enthusiasm! Thank you for for message! all the best for you and all AVM survivors
Good on you Emily. It is great to hear a good story as some of our AVM stories may not be as positive. So happy for you…enjoy the festivals.

Peace be with you and have a merry Christmas or whatever holiday you celebrate. Give all my love to you.and your family.

Well done Emily...Have a Happy New Year (-:
Hi Emily,
My boyfriend is 53 had a bleed on the left frontal lobe. Three weeks ago he had a craniotomy and had the AVM removed. He is speaking one word sentences but just a few of the same words. I am here with him at the stroke recovery center and tried doing the alphabet with him. He can not sound out the letters. He is also paralyzed on the right side. I heard that you had trouble speaking. How are you now? Also you said you are AVM free. I didn’t think they could return once they were removed. My boyfriends was totally removed and taken out with surgery.
Thank you for your time,
Deb
