A message from a journey of isolation

Hello everyone. Hope you all doing great, and Christmas is fast approaching and I’m happy to greet you all an advance Merry Christmas.
Since the first and last hemorrhage and the craniotomy( hope so), I lived a completely different life. I can hardly describe the life, 70%-90% isolation from the society, like a cage cat.
I stared to take pictures, to find something that touch me, and find the meaning of my isolated life. Just like the sea, there’s wind, and there’s sand. And all art is meant to bring surprises to people. And I believe it is the same as the meaning of my life, is to bring some surprises and happiness to somebody. And here are some of my pictures.

Beautiful photos! Peace and nature go hand in hand for me, and as long as we have nature, we are rich. Sorry to hear of your isolation, know you are among friends here. While it may be virtual contact, we share a lot of experiences as a broad community. John.

Wonderful photos! I too find solace in peace and observing the world following my illness. It feels like I see more detail and beauty in simple things like plants and skies. I am learning to draw animal portraits and it brings me a lot of relaxation and periods of concentration.

I have amazing friends, but the modern world seems designed to keep us isolated and permanently busy. Now that I can no longer drive a car I am often stuck in my small village and sometimes I don’t feel like I am really participating in society. I love solitude, but I have come to realise the importance of needing to ‘be’ somewhere in the physical world and have people to meet on a regular basis. My goal for the new year is to try and find ways to get involved with charity work to give myself a sense of purpose. Small steps towards a healthier, more balanced life!

Hello Alex
Thank you for liking my photos. I agree with you. I think the modern world society is impetuous, and the masses are lack of patience to communicate and understand to each other, furthermore, we who are post-AVM or any other illness can realise this situation more impressed. I’m glad that you have found peace and happiness throughout your hobbies. Wish you live a wonderful life! And happy new year to you and your family.
