Hi all has anyone here been treated by Doctor Rosenwasser out of Jefferson Health in Philadelphia, I thought I recall a post that his name came up in it seams like he has been in this field for a long time and we might be looking to get some images looked at , no problems at moment just doing some research just in case , thanks for any info , Ken

Embolization Experience

I truly know I was blessed. My doctor was Dr rosenwasser in Philadelphia. At the time the glue was a new procedure he pretty much wrote the book on the procedure so I was in really good hands although I was a guinea pig at the time. So far all has worked. I only had a little bit of eye damage and the terrible Brewer in my ear was gone when I woke. That was like listening to dripping water I don’t know how I didn’t kill myself with that in my ear. By the way, I was misdiagnosed for 10 years until…

Hi yes, I had Dr rosenwasser back in 1998 correct my AVM. He is the best of the best I believe he now runs the department. From a 1 to 10 I give him a hundred. He is an amazing doctor. Many years later I am still doing great. I wish you the same, get well soon. Mine was a brain AVM.

Thanks for the info , he seams like he has a lot of experience and been doing this a long time , and runs the program at Jefferson including teaching and medical papers, he was very prompt to respond and even left a full contact info including his 24 hr emergency contact.

Many of the stories we have on here date back to 2010 and 2011, so he’s definitely been active for some time. However, we moved platforms in 2016 and some people found the new site difficult to get used to, so it is difficult to send you that far back in time to talk to people: they are much less likely to answer you. I’m pretty sure I don’t have the same email address that I had back in 2010/11.

Thank you so much for the info, we had few other doctors in past but they all retired, and wasn’t happy with a more recent review at another hospital in city. Dr. R still seams like he is still very involved in the program. Responded very quickly to my email even leaving a emergency contact phone number, hopefully neither of us ever need that!
