AVMSurvivors.Org Twitter Directory - AVM Patient Support Network

Hi Everyone,

I thought it would be fun to have a list of people who use Twitter on AVMSurvivors.org. There is a link below. It’s open to the public, so add yourself to the list. I also put some fun commentary categories in there if you feel like it.

Here is a primer on How to Twitter from the Wall Street Journal, if you are interested.

Cheers,

Ok! I did it! I’m officially a twitter-er…or twitterfied? However I’m still not feeling like one of the cool kids cause I’m not sure what to do now that I posted. I found your Sports Basement one and am trying to find others to follow…

Oh and thanks for saying I’m friend worthy! :slight_smile:

some people I reccomend cause they are funny, smart or cool:

@bain, @fredwilson, @dickc, @furiobain,

I’m sure this is a great idea but I totally don’t “get” Twitter. LOL

hi Joy,

it’s a great way to stay in touch with friends and make new ones. you send out a text message or message from the site. Other people “subscribe” to your messages and have them delivered to their phone or Twitter.com. They’re short messages. The little details that bring out someone’s personality.

Try it out.

Ok, so I’m feeling a little more Twitter savvy.

For those of you who are still confused here is my easy explanation- It’s like the “status” part of Facebook. Short and sweet little sentence about whatever. The real difference is like Scott said…that message gets “delivered” to anyone following you. So you are broadcasting out to people and they can stay up to date on whatever you tell them.

Facebook is like creating a note…but Twitter is hitting “send.”

oprah is on it now:
