Update on my cerebral angiogram on Saturday morning. I didn’t have any allergic reaction to the iodine dye. The procedure itself wasn’t painful but I was very nervous going into it. Seeing the images in front of you is weird but interesting. I cried loads when they finished the procedure, tears of relief I think. Today I’m a bit sore everywhere. Glad it’s over with hopefully I never need another one

I was fascinated by the images and the relationship my doctor had with his nursing team: they were a great bunch, with a very teamy atmosphere set by the doc.
I’m sure you’ll need a couple more angiograms but quite probably one of those might be under general anesthetic. Fear of the unknown is a big part of all of this: you’ll do great!
