Today is Draft Day! Maybe that means something to you, maybe it doesn't. This time is should. Please wear your lucky socks. Don't shave your beard. Do your thing, but please direct all your good juju toward AVM survivor Neiron Ball. Any team would be lucky to have this brave, hardworking young athlete. Read his story here.Neiron Ball
Dina, I was unfamiliar with Neiron's health challenge. Thank you for sharing his inspirational story!
Susan, I just learned about him (and another athlete--former Mariner) a month or so ago. Just great to see how his training and all that exercise has aided in his recovery.
Wow thanks for sharing Dina. I'd not heard of Neiron either. I'll definitely be rooting for him!
Dina, I just checked out on the internet the Mariners player and he is another inspirational AVM story!
Yeah, Susan… I think I tweeted about both gentleman in the same week even. It was kinda weird come to think of it. Lol. I know Neiron won’t get drafted today, but this is the day everyone starts getting excited. Anyway, I just shared my fb pay with my husband telling him how anxious I feel for Neiron. Isn’t that silly? Ha ha ha
Fb post, not pay. Phone, grrrrr
Thank you for sharing Neiron Ball's story!
Here’s Anthony Vasquez’s story ( Seattle Mariners ) http://blog.seattlepi.com/baseball/2012/11/21/mariners-pitcher-anthony-vasquez-recovering-from-brain-surgery/
Yeah, I knew of the Mariner too. Isn’t that awesome? I think he plays for another team this year though, traded.
Quick follow-up... Neiron was officially signed today. So excited he gets to be my neighbor! check it out here!
