Does your brain feel like the world is moving too fast?

My question is just the same as the title of the discussion. I can be sitting here at the computer, and all of a sudden it feels like everything except me is moving really fast. It lasts just a few minutes, but I hate it. I had it when I was little when the AVM bled. I have had it off and on my whole life. Just wondering? Thanks.

Beansy...The world is moving too fast even with or without an AVM brain bleed.

Louisa, I do know that, I guess, but I came from NYC, where the world moves faster than anywhere for real. What I meant was only in my brain. Know what I mean? I take everything literally, so not sure but think you were being funny. I am not afraid to ask since look where we are writing from/ :)

Louisa, you took the words out of my mouth... :J Seriously though have you ever had that checked out by a doc beans? What did they say? I haven't had that experience and while I can't talk for others, I never heard that happening to another member on this site. Hope you're feeling well today and make sure to take care of yourself. :J

Can it be a form of dizzieness? A neurosurgeon asked me if I where dizzy sometimes and if it felt like the world was spinning (instead of feeling like your the one that is spinning). This was in January, after my embo.

I should contact a doctor about this for several reasons. One: because it affects you and probably your daily life, and two: something may cause these symptoms, I think you would like to know if something is wrong.

Good luck with it!

I use to get that every now and then while recovering From my surgery. I would be sitting in the recliner and everything would spin very faste, except for me. Very off putting. It has faded after time. Hope you are feeling better.

Isn't it all part of the "OBama Plan"? At these times... which are more frequent I insist the dizziness and general condition of incoherencyare all all part of the OBama Plan!!
'nuff said, Cheers,
Nicole

I get that too Beansy, especially if I turn too quick, it's like I notice the world as it really is for a moment: a fast moving object and I'm a speck hanging on for dear life, then it goes away! I also heard somewhere that Dr. Oliver Sacks did a study and noticed that schizophrenics are not "mental" they just have a different perception of time than other people. So when they are viewed by people with a "normal" perception of time they are considered "crazy". Not to say that you are schizophrenic, but time perception is all up there in the old brain and who knows what wires were crossed during our surgery or bleed! Hang in there, the world won't throw you off, just gotta hang on for dear life! :)

Oh Beans did you get my reply to this ?
If not ooops...sunspots and planets interfere . If so this is repeat .

YES . Rather like the sonic boom after the jet is gone . That fast .
Lasts only a moment or two NOT a minute or two .
Have you discussed with your physician(s) ?
I do not have seizures or anemia or a thyroid condition .

I do take a beta blocker for high blood pressure I acquired after the brain explosion and ensuing surgeries .
The physicians I discussed this with have no clean reason .
Could be the brain itself from all of the trauma and re-routing or the extra C.S. fluid the brain creates to fill in the empty space where there was once tissue . I am told I am weather ( barometric pressure changes ) sensitive . That I much I knew .
I believe you are the first person who brought this subject . Interesting .

Be good to you . Take care of you . Give Jimbo a pet from me .

I am a huge Obama fan, and do not want to go there. please
