Hi, my neurosurgeon says I have a complex region in my left hypoglossal canal and jugular bulb. I have done the cerebral angiogram, but they haven’t yet decided whether it is a glomus jugular tumor, an osseous dural fistula, or AVM. When it started I had pulsatile tinnitus that progressively got worse, but recently after a massage that went away. Because the tinnitus went away the Dr. wants to do another MRA or angiogram just to make sure something hasn’t changed. They also want to do a PET scan with Ga-68 doctotate but the insurance has denied that. Recently I started noticing that my left eyelid doesn’t open as much as the right like it is drooping and have occasional blurry vision. I just had my eye exam done and the optometrist didn’t see any issues with the eye itself. Has anyone else had a drooping eyelid and also has anyone else had tinnitus just go away on its own?
