Hi everyone ! Hope all of you are having a great Saturday ! Im working with a doctor to have a support group for AVM/ aneurysm survivors in the Elk Grove/ Sacramento, Stockton, Lodi, and all over Northern California! How many of you would be interested in attending? 
Hey Monica - Maybe you want to state a Northern Calif group on here, as a way of getting more people to attend those events too. It is easy to start a group on here (I have done one for Southern Cal), so if you need help, please let me know. Btw, will you be at the AVM and Aneurysm Walk on May 3rd in SF at Chrissy Park? If so, I will certainly be on the look out for you :).

I started the group online, but its a great way to communicate with people in your area for meet ups or any type of events in the area. Likewise, it is great information for "locals" with regards to hospitals, doctors, etc. If you want to start one, go to "groups" at the top of the page, click add and you are on your way Monica. You can call it, Northern California, or sacramento (depending on what area you want to focus on). Let me know if you need any help and I will look for you at the walk at Chrissy Field. I will probably have a ben's Friends shirt on. I will try to touch base with you before that weekend!! All the best and I'm here if you need any help :).

I can only second the online group idea that Deb suggested--she knows what she's talking about. They seemingly allow you to focus your energies on the folks most directly related to your community/neighborhood. Cheers!
