Has anyone been involved with fundraisers to benefit individuals, not necessarily support TAAF? Proceeds are expected to assist with medical bills, daily living expenses, etc. Your suggestions are all welcome!

In addition to fundraising, I’d recommend talking to the hospital about patient assistance funds, discounts they can apply to your bill, and free medication programs you might be eligible for.

Hospitals usually have funds available to help patients who are unable to pay medical bills. You have to speak with the billing department and apply for them though.
