Hello everyone I hope everyone is well. The last time I was on and schedule to have my gamma knife on February 14.. But it didnt happen I went to the hospital had the halo fitted, couldnt do the MRI so they did the CT scan and also they did the angiogram, now here comes the exciting part when it was time for me to go into the machine I freaked out they couldnt control me my blood pressure was sky high..I couldn't do it I was terrified to do it....I am disappointed in myself because I got that far...I prayed on it...they gave me medicine to calm me down but I still couldn't do. So now I'm wonder what is my next step....I will just keep praying that I dont have another bleed.With the gamma knife my chance would be 1% without 1-4 percent...Well like I said I will continue to pray and take good care of myself because I'm still blessed....Everyone have a bless and safe day Love you for all the support...
Ask your doctor to put you completly under. When I had my GK, I was under the whole time. I only remember being fitted for the halo. Then I woke up in recovery. It won't hurt to ask.
Annette, I’m sorry GK day didn’t work out. I hope they figure out a way to help you get the GK without panicking.
