Just had a question about the process for requesting a second opinion. Do I just have my previous recent results sent over to the new doctor or do I have to make an appointment with the new hospital and go thru the entire process again?Thank you for any advice you may offer.

Smart idea to have this planned out in advance! It's best to get your records sent over AND (if possible) to have a copy sent to you, too. That way, you can walk into the appointment with your records in hand, in case there was a problem with getting your records sent, received, and filed. (In my experience, there's often a problem with that!)
