I had an angiogram on friday, (as mentioned in my last discussion) and I had been in quite a bit of pain since. Turns out I have a hematoma underneath my abdominal wall, but it is not visible from the site. Just wondering if anyone got a hematoma after an angiogram and how long it took for it go away?
The medical team had a hard time stopping the bleeding after my first angiogram, so I ended up with all sorts of internal bleeding for most of the day following the angiogram. As a ressult, I ended up quite sore and had a HUGE, very dark (almost black) bruise on my leg, thigh and hip, as well as quite a bit of swelling in the area. Both the swelling and the bruising lasted for almost a couple of months, though the soreness ended after about a week.
