I can tell from Mitt Romney's speech after the Supreme Court ruling that he couldn't give a flying fudge if I'd died of stroke because I couldn't have my AVMs treated on time without the means afford it.
Sorry for the politicalness, but so many of my friends are ill without health insurance, and it's really heartbreaking to see how they suffer.
And if I weren't under my parents' health insurance plan, I don't know how I would have survived. Medication? Too expensive. Neurologist appointments? Angiograms? MRI's? MRA's? CT scans? Are you kidding me? Neurosurgeon appointments? Yeah right. NEUROSURGERY? NOOO WAYYYY.
IF YOU DON'T HAVE MONEY, YOU DON'T DESERVE TO LIVE A QUALITY LIFE. That's what I heard today, and I really hope he doesn't get elected so he gets to repeal it all.
He wants to put a price tag on life and health, and make it so that only people privileged enough to have the money or inherently healthy live well. To the point that he would go and try to repeal an established law in order to deprive millions of people from health care they desperately need.
Too bad I can't even vote.
