I have peripheral AVMs in my left arm, and my pinky has been suffering since having sclerotherapy a few years ago; I’ve got quite a bad scar and my skin is extremely sensitive, painful, dry and flakey.
My doctors have been less than any help in treating this issue - it honestly gives me more pain than my AVMs.
Has anyone used red light therapy for scars? I am concerned about using it on my pinky because, even though that finger has many issues which would be solved by red light, I worry the dilation effects of the light may negatively affect AVMs close to my pinky.
Does anyone have any experience with either using red light therapy or effectively treating skin issues post-sclerotherapy?
