Does anyone know of any forums for COPD? And/or pseudonymous? My dear friend has chronic COPD and her dr. wants to put her on the list for a lung transplant. Which is very risky too. He told us most people only live an average of 5 years once it's done. The medicine she would have to take is known to damage the liver over time. I had her stay with me this past week because she was so sick from getting the flue. She stayed on the couch for 4 days straight and slept most of the time. The only time she got up was to go to the bathroom. She's feeling a little better now but, she's still sick. This is getting scary now.
