July 28, 2005 - I was scheduled for about 4-5 hours of surgery to remove the AVM from my left temporal lobe. About 8 hours later, I left the ER, headed back to the recovery room, suffered a stroke from a clot, was rushed back into surgery for another 2 hours.
July 28, 2011 - Six years later, and here I am!
