New News

Ok, got Benjamin a new neurologist and she ordered follow up MRI/MRA scans. She says that it looks like Ben either has a DVA or a Cavernoma, referred him to a neurosurgeon for next week. I am nervous but very glad that someone is finally looking at this further.

I am glad you are making progress, Cariv. Thank you for updating us! We have a cavernous malformation group on the website -- you can find it if you click on "Groups." Some of our members were initially diagnosed with avms which later turned out to be dvas. Surgery is less often indicated for dvas, so most of them are medically managing symptoms and doing fine.

CariV, Thanks for posting the update and please keep us informed.
