Tonight was my First time driving in the dark since the AVM surgery and I discovered the oncoming traffic triggered a major headache. Has anyone else experienced this?
Just did a search…http://www.avmsurvivors.org/main/search/search?q=Lights+headaches
It seems lights can trigger headaches.
The same thing happened to me after I started driving again. It was about 3 months after surgery. It got better with time and "practice". It did get better. I couldnt drive very much at first. I would get very dizzy, headaches etc. Every day i was able to drive a bit longer without this happening.
Thank you for the answers and support. It’s comforting to know I’m not alone.
I didn't get a headache from driving in the dark...which I have only tryed once...but I cannot see well at all in the dark..
I have trouble with the lights. Sounds and lights do trigger my headaches as well.
