Has anyone heard of any studies relative to the possibilities of how heredity might be a factor with AVM’s and other brain abnormalities? My brother and I both had AVM’s. And I have 4 Sons.

I’ve heard mixed reviews on this question, Mike. I don’t think anyone’s done a conclusive studay because the initial population of AVM patients is comparitively small. I’m the only one in my family to have a bleed, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have AVMs.
If your sons have frequent headaches, eyesight issues, dizziness etc., it might not be a bad idea to get them an MRI just to be sure.
