Question about an AVM being crushed

Hello all
Its been awhile since I spoke but I have a question if anyone could help
I suffered a hemorrhagic stroke from an AVM in the frontal lobe in 2010
The doctors told me that the bleed crushed the AVM and would not need a coil
My question is “when they say crushed, do they mean its a clot?” This concerns me
If anyone can help me understand, I would certainly appreciate it

I have never heard that term associated to an AVM. It will be interesting to see if anyone has heard similar. I would think if clot they would have said that, but our docs are docs and sometimes communication is not the greatest…rather than fan, some would prefer to say an aero accelerating oscillator! Poor attempt at being funny on my behalf! Take Care, John

:joy:
Thanks for getting back to me John
I guess I have not given it much thought until lately
I’m post 14 years since my rupture and I’m just happy that I survived and I’m doing well
When I think about a clot, I feel that it is not a good thing. I just wish my Docs would give me a straight answer. They should speak to me like I’m a two-year-old. Anyway, I’m just happy to be alive waiting for my first grandchild to be born and living the dream.
God bless
