Is it normal to have a brain bleed after radiation?
It’s still a risk while the radiotherapy does its work. That is often a matter of years rather than hours or days or weeks.

I had a small bleed after my radiation, about 7 months after treatment. My surgeon said we poked it with radiation so sometimes the respond back. It was minor in comparison 3 days in hospital and about 2 weeks back to normal recovery, with not change to the treatment plan.

My neuro advised the risk may be slightly elevated for a period of time but nit significantly. As the radiation begins to close vessels the risk diminishes, although nothing is for sure! John
