RE: Dizzies

I had two brain operations (AVM) about 12 years ago. I was left with Vestibular problems.

What is really bothering meright now is my dizzies. You cannot believe how dizzy i am right plus confusing. After all those years , i am thinking that it might be in or around my right ear that is the problems.

I was operated near the Cerebullum, so neurosurgeon had to pass very very close to my right ear and i would think he made damages. I am dizzy since my operation but i am now so dizzy since at least one or two months it has no sense.

i would like to know if any of you's have had this problems of Dizzies etc., and how you deal with this.
I do have an appointment with an ORL Audiologist in the coming weeks, meanwhile i am most of the time in bed. I am really ??? and think i might be going depressive due to all the dissabilities i have; but as i say being dizzy every single moment of my life is extremely hard.

Anyone has something to suggest me.

Thank you in advance , will come back to see you later

Rita

p.s. I also have an appt. to pass a Scan in couple of weeks.

Hi, Rita, please join our Cerebellar avms group (http://www.avmsurvivors.org/group/avms-of-the-cerebellum?xg_source=activity) and for the dizziness, check http://vestibular.org/

particularly the treatment page: http://vestibular.org/understanding-vestibular-disorder/treatment

I hope your dizziness is better now.

In rehab we had vestibular therapy to help improve it, and it helped somewhat. Maybe you could try that?
