Remember:

Never give up!
Take one day at a time!
Always challenge yourself!

btw: please write here everything that helps in recovery after our AVM ruptured and gave us stroke. Whatever you think helps you!

like I found that it is important not to lean on anything, not to slump, when you sit (chair, car, wheelchair...) That makes your back muscles stronger!

Whether you think you can, or think you can’t, you’re right. - Henry Ford
I used that quote as a motivational tool long before my AVM and stroke, and it applies now as much as ever…

Wonderful saying - and TRUE.

This is not very inspirational but quite funny: I saw t-shirt with:
I KNOW GOD WOULDN'T GIVE ME MORE THAN I CAN HANDLE I JUST WISH HE DIDN'T TRUST ME THAT MUCH.

your brain doesn't know the difference between real and imagined thing!
So if you are not able to walk for example, everyday go for a "walk" in your mind.

before trying to do anything new - "do" it in your mind. it will be easier!

IT IS CINCH BY THE INCH- IT IS HARD BY THE YARD
Small goals on the way to ultimate goal!

What your mind can conceive and believe it can achieve!
Use it: imagine first and you can do anything! Just do not doubt it!
