Shunting Lesion

Hello, I had a bleed in 2013 due to a ruptured AVM. I had it surgically removed. Last year my neurologist found 2 small aneurysms on my MRI. I’ve been having headaches so I went for another MRI and the results say “finding’s implying recurrent shunting lesion involving the left posterior fossa.” Does anyone know what this means? Did my AVM return? My doctor won’t be back into the office until Wednesday.

Hi t, I want to welcome you here. I don’t know the answer but the neurologist should be able to explain it. Good luck and best wishes, Greg

Welcome. I’m sorry I can’t help much either and hope you can get a good description from your neurologist. I did some google research but there are a variety of explanations so it would be best to get it straight from the Dr. Take Care, John

Thank you John
