Spiritual recovery?

Another perspective of this, having lived through it, is that before life went up and down just a little bit. I mean, sometimes your happy and sometimes your sad. After this it was such a “deep” sad but despite that it lead to a way “deeper” (or should I say higher) happiness. I feel more. But as long as I’m balanced and listen to myself and not on everyone around me or the “society” kinda, I’m at peace.

We humans are amazing and complex. I’m fascinated by us and how we work. I’m around if you just wanna talk. It’s easier to talk to someone that has been through kinda the same. We’re all in the same boat on this page, just slightly different ones

Hi Richard, I was half-serious about putting stuff off. There are lots of things that can’t be put off. The gist is to lower expectations to avoid a bit of disappointment. I definitely fell into trap of giving unsolicited advice. Sorry for that. Us old folks sometimes think we’re wiser than we are.
When I was on my back for a long time I set the goal of hiking the Appalachian Trail. I tried and didn’t get very far at all. But it was still a good goal and had unexpected gifts. So take everything I say with a grain of salt. Greg

No problem.

The Appalachian Trail does look interesting. Mrs D & I watched the film A Walk In The Woods last week, which was kinda fun & interesting.
