Steam Cell Treatments post brain AVM?

Has anyone received steam cell treatments post AVM? My husband is a left parietal lobe of 9 years now and is cognitively regressing at this point. Has constant right side pain (have tried all sorts of meds) and I am wondering if the money is worth the risks. Thank you!

Our Neurologist advised against it as he says there is no strong evidence that it works.

I’m not sure where you live, but please be careful with random clinics offering this treatment

As some as you know my Stroke Dr head of stroke at Stanford is part of this clinical trial. When I spoke to him recently he said the trials would be completed Sept 2019 and then awaiting FDA approval. More results will be published in the spring regarding the stroke patients they only used patients with ischemic at least in the Stanford pool ( its a Nation wide test -USA) so no one with an AVM type of stroke etc. But he said once approved it would be up to the neuro to apply to someone with …

I’m 16 years post rupture and still have incredible pain and other unpleasant issues I have a scar on my brain and have been told stem cell therapy might be able to help regenerate the damaged area. It seems to be my only option. I’m looking into this a bit more to see if I’m a suitable candidate. Any further information would be greatly appreciated if you have some.
