Toothache Medication Advice Needed ASAP!

I'm having one of those AVM memory blank moments. A while back, we discussed whether to use Anbesol or Orajel or toothache pain. I seem to remember that one of them isn't safe for us. I am in horrible pain and need advice as soon as possible.

I had a severe AVM headache yesterday,which was compounded by a long drive on a bumpy road. I'm still wearing that hard neck brace from breaking my neck, and every time we hit a bump , my head banged against it and the back of the seat.

When I got home, the only way to relieve any of the pressure was to lie on my side. I fell asleep for almost 2 hours, which was good for my headache...but, unfortunately, the pressure of the brace against my jaw has left my bottom right gums and teeth feeling badly bruised and hurting miserably!

Ow, sorry you're in so much pain. This won't help you at the moment, since you'd want to ask a doctor before trying it, but I wanted to add to the list of possible tooth meds: A friend uses clove oil directly on the gums for tooth pain; it was what her dentist gave her after extracting her wisdom teeth, and she never needed anything else. Here's a picture of me in mt "torture chamber". lol I'll be so glad when my vertebrae are healed and I can lay down like a normal person again!
