I was wondering how everyone handles travel. According to my extended health insurance, my son would not be covered for this condition for up to 6 months after diagnosis, or any treatment for the medical condition.
But I wonder since his risk is high for a bleed/stroke with his AVM, if he would ever be able to get health coverage. Maybe it would just cost quite a bit extra to be covered?
Has anyone had experience with this?
Also does everyone fly in an airplane? I have read different views on this. Our neurosurgeon would just say, “just go and live your normal life.” grrr… lol
