Antihistamines and AVM

Hi all.

Just wondering if any of you guys take antihistamines as normal with cerebal AVM. The pollen count is very hight in Ireland at the moment and my son is suffering with hay-fever.

I think it’s much better to avoid sneezing, to be honest. I’ve never avoided taking antihistamines.

Hi Mary

I had bad hay-fever as a child and took a lot of anti hist but never felt the tablets were that great back in 80s.

I had an unknown avm which ruptured in 1990 and was back on anti hist in 91.

So I don’t know of any link but I did get a Hay fever test to see what irritants I reacted to most and had to avoid horses!

Summer sucks when you’re eyes are swollen with pollen.

Taken daily as I’m allergic to dust and dust mites. No issue with my AVM, that ruptured over a year so (March '25).
