First year M.R.I

today, i saw my neurologist got my results of my first mri after a year post crainatonomy…quiet hard to believe it has been a year…it has shown no AVM in sight…which is great…although it does show alot of scar tissue…which was expeted after removing a 12.5cm A.V.M… and explains why i was left with left side paralysis. and have been suffering such bad siezures. i am off to see my surgeon in march who will be able to explain things more

hey A, great news about no avm. have u had anymore siezures since the last ugly one.

I am so glad that your AVM hasn’t made a reappearance. I am still amazed by the size of it! We are so lucky to still have you with us, Alicia!

Alicia i am so glad to hear you are AVM free.

Wow! I’ve never heard of one so big! I’m glad for the good report! I hope good things continue to come along for you.

Wow. That is amazing. You have really done so well. I bet you continue to improve over the next year too. It’s seems to be such a long process but you have a great attitude. Take care Alicia.

A year later… Now THAT is a good mile stone to reach! Glad that there is no AVM in sight. I’m surprised that the surgeon would be the one with answers instead of the neuro… would have thought the opposite  I obviously still don’t know enough about how it all works and who does what! The important thing is that you are doing well and recovering with no AVM!!!

hey A, just a quick hello.

I’m so glad they cannot detect any AVM, I hope you can be avm free in the future. Recovering may take a bit long, but stay strong… thinking of you and wishing you all the best. =)
