Looking for neurologist in NYC

Hi, I have been diagnosed by an ENT with an AVM, I have an appointment Monday with a neurologist in Manhattan,(Caselda Balmaceda) but don’t know much about her other than online and she’s part of Colombian Presbyterian (Good hospital/University) I have GHI NYC city health insurance, anyone out there recommend anyone and a neurosurgeon.

The suit, filed Monday in Nassau County, claims the North Shore University Hospital doctors knowingly operated twice on Kristy Pirozzolo, 42, for a brain defect and spinal cord disorder she didn’t have.

Pirozzolo went to North Shore to seek help for chronic fainting spells.

“She was looking to get her life back,” said Pirozzolo’s lawyer, Christina Ctorides. “She had two surgeries which have made her so much worse.”

The suit is the latest blow to North Shore Hospital’s world-renowned Chiari Institute and its two elite surgeons, who were paid more than $10 million to perform 500 procedures a year.

The doctors were suspended last month after Bolognese didn’t show up to operate, though his patient had been prepped and put under anesthesia. Milhorat refused to cover for his AWOL colleague
