Pneumonia is gone....finally

I had what will be my final chest x-ray last week and all signs of pneumonia were gone. Its amazing to me that all of this has been tied to the stereotactic radiosurgery. I am glad I don’t have to worry about that again for another few years (if at all).

I’ve decided to see a neuro-opthalmologist again to see if anything can be done about the double vision. The last time I went she said “no” because the 2nd image is slanted and below the 1st. So, it would be almost impossible for the surgeon to know how to adjust the eye. We’ll see what the 2nd doctor says. I’m going to one that my neurologist recommended at Boston University.

I also have yet another MRI scheduled for the 23rd. Glad I can keep that technician employed! Its just a follow-up and I don’t expect to learn anything new. I’d be very surprised if there were any change in the AVM.

Outside of the AVM, I restarted college after a 3 month hiatus. I’ve been taking my required courses one of which is algebra! Hate it! But, I remember more from high school than I gave myself credit for. I’ve been taking all of the courses in an online environment, very different but it gives a lot of flexibility.

Hi Brian,

Great to hear that the pneumonia is finally. Good luck with your classes.

Take care,

Debbie

Good news Brian. Stay well and good luck with your course!

How have you made the double vision manageable for you to do everyday activities, school work, etc.? (It’s been slightly over a year since my bleed and I still have double vision, which affects my depth perception.) ANY helpful idea(s) would be GREATLY appreciated! Thank you.
