Pregnancy and hormone treatments

Hi everyone,

I’d like to ask about your experiences with pregnancy planning after being diagnosed with a brain AVM, multiple aneurysms, and undergoing CyberKnife treatment (mine was a year ago).

I’m interested in understanding how others have approached this topic (from medical advice to personal experiences), especially regarding safety, timing, and any follow-up care or monitoring that doctors recommended.

If you’ve discussed this with your neurosurgeon or OB-GYN, I’d be grateful to hear what kind of guidance you received and what factors were considered in your case.

My doctor gave me a verbal “okay” to try for a baby, but in writing, they still mentioned that there are risks for me. It’s been difficult to understand what’s truly safe and what’s not. :brown_heart:

I’m following this discussion, as I’m looking for answers for myself on this topic. My doctor also gave me the okay to get pregnant after my third Gamma Knife, but I don’t think I’ll feel safe to get pregnant until long after obliteration is confirmed.
