Hi , spinal davf affecties
these days i feel sometime legs numbness and heavyness recedes quite towards normalcy and my walk gets better but lateron back to heavyness.
Do other fellows same condition at times or can it be nerve regrowth or what. Pls share your experiences
Hi Ahmed, my symptoms come and go including leg numbness and heaviness. My spinal AVM has not bled yet and the doctor said the symptoms are due to the steal effect - the spinal tissue is not getting enough oxygen because the blood bypasses the regular capillary network.

My spinal davf was surgically removed or blocked in March-2022 and immediately after surgery i faced alot of numbness n heavness in all loeer abdomen , while before that off n on my knees motor function got affected and after surgery that resolved but with numbness n heavyness in legs
Hope your neuro Dr must closely monitoring your spinal avm.

Yes. It has to do with other things, aswell. Nutrition. Also nerve health, alignments etc.
But what you say is good. If your symptoms are due to a nerve cut, over time this will heal .
You can try proven and evidenced alternate therapies to bring you relief.

Y at times nerves can regenerate even in spinal injuries but if not major cut or damage.
And what are those proven and alternate therapies for nerve you refer below. Do share pls.

I consulted with Dr Kawahara a Japanese martial artist. Helped me immensely .
Initially I had so much spasticity that it was walking through hip deep water . Some sessions with Dr Kawahara helped immensely .
You can try acupuncture and Watsup. Both help. One Acupuncturist gave me lion mane s mushroom which also helped .
Plus regular physio excercises . They help stimulate neuro plasticity to restore the nerves . My nerves took two to three years to regain strength.
