I have an abdominal AVM and was recently suggested by my PCP to get a shingles vaccine. The last vaccine I had was for Covid 19 (took four jabs) with no major side effects. I was not diagnosed with an AVM then.
I’m just getting more cautious now and wanted to know if folks have taken the shingles vaccine and what yo expect
I have had the shingles vaccine, and get COVID and Flu every year without any concerns from any health care providers. Always a good question to ask, but for me in working with a lot of people from the public, and having an elderly mother I view it as protecting me and her. My shingles was post gamma knife but before it was confirmed obliterated, but I have been getting the flu shot for 20 years. It has been the right choice for me. Take Care, John.
